Absolutely. These five poses show up across nearly every yoga style, and the energetic direction principles apply no matter what lineage you practice. This isn't style-specific — it's about how you meet the poses themselves. My teacher has been teaching alignment for decades. Is this saying they're wrong? Not at all. This isn't about right or wrong — it's about adding another layer to how you experience the poses. Alignment has its place. This work simply offers a different lens, one that's helped me and my students access support we didn't know was there. You can honour what you've learned and still explore this.
